Cardboard was torn by hand, not by blade. Tape was pulled. Magazine pages were handled, considered, and discarded. What you're looking at is everything that was left behind after Kazu finished the other five ŌSAKA SIX designs.

REMAINS was never planned as a design. It's the studio floor itself, the corrugated ribs, the red tape, the newsprint fragments, the chaos that creation leaves in its wake. We put it on washed grey because the collage needed a quiet surface. No competition. Just texture against texture.

It's the most honest piece in the collection because it was never meant to be one.

Kazu doesn't plan his collages. He surrounds himself with material and cuts until something emerges. This tee is what the other five emerged from. The source material. The remains.
